I would not advise planning a wedding without a wedding planner. If you are planning a wedding (or any event really) near Shreveport/Bossier, I would highly recommend Tanya Harville. She made every single step of the process easy. My rehearsal dinner, wedding, wedding reception and honeymoon were phenomenal and every single detail came off right on time and beautifully. I have gotten innumerable compliments on a gorgeous wedding at Couch Chapel and a fantastic party for a reception at the Petroleum club. Tanya knows all of the vendors personally in the area. She gave me options, ran all the errands, made the appointments I needed and was constantly available by phone, text and email. (I am pretty high maintanance, especially with communication.) I live out of town and could not have done this without Tanya. She worked with the church directors, musicians, florists, photographers, and chefs on multiple occassions for me. Tanya did dozens of tasks in the background that I never even had to worry about. She made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. She dealt with communication and organization and payments to the vendors. She helped me solve problems, she assuaged my fears, she promised everything would turn out great (I tend to stress out) and she was absolutely right. Tanya did a superb job in orchestrating my Big Day and I consider her not only to be a talented professional but also a true friend.

Tanya is the best, most professional wedding planner in the area. She made our wedding amazing!

She was such a HUGE help with planning the wedding. The best to me was the wedding night. She kept everyone on schedule, which allowed my mother and I to both relax, and have fun. I totally recommend using Tanya as a wedding planner!
